How much will it cost?

We can provide a “per episode” cost, so it depends on the length of your podcast or vlog and the amount of extra content you require alongside it. In other we agree beforehand what content you want putting together for each podcast and then quote for you a cost per episode. Once this is done we have a short onboarding phase and then agree the schedule so you can simply share your recorded content and we do the rest.

Ok, so How do Make my own podcast?

Whilst you probably know your business inside out the prospect of nailing the attractive graphics, shareable clips and comprehensive show notes which are crucial together a podcast up and running may be a little daunting. That is why our skilled podcast virtual assistants can take all these time consuming tasks off your plate allowing you to concentrate on what you do best, so here’s the plan;

  1. Decide what you want to talk about. Your podcast should have a concept which may just be your area of expertise (your industry, target audience sector, service or related topic).

  2. Decide what you want to achieve. Are you a personal brand looking to become an influencer or do you want to gain leads to grow your customer base? There is no right or wrong here but it is important to keep in mind what you want to achieve so you remember to speak to that person in your target audience.

  3. Name That Podcast. This doesn't sound important does it? But getting this stuff right is key. Think what your target audience will search for and which keywords should appear in the title and description (both relevant search fields in Apple Podcasts for example).

  4. Choose a format and length. This is important and should be informed by your target audience. What do they want to hear? Is it interviews, or chats with industry experts, is it you giving tips on your chosen field or perhaps a short form podcast (e.g. recapping industry news)? When it comes to length, podcasts vary from 10 minutes to several hours and each one can be engaging. It depends on your audience, but make sure you are always informative and packed with good content.

  5. Make a schedule and stick to it. Like any form of content creation and sharing, you want it to create a connection with people. Humans are creatures of habit so give them what they want when they want it. If you want your new podcast out on a Tuesday morning, make sure you stick to the schedule. Committing to a certain number of pods is a great way to motivate yourself and ensure you deliver regularly. You can of course prepare them up front if they don’t need to be topical.

  6. Hit Record. Yep that’s it. Of course you can get any amount of fancy recording equipment but do get some kind of concept off the ground you can record yourself on your smart phone or on a Zoom call. Our clients vary greatly and the kind of podcasting and blogging they do can be in portrait format, spoken into a phone and destined for IG TV or in landscape format and destined for multi-channel use from YouTube to Apple Podcasts.

  7. Edit, trim, add music, transcribe, add written content, prepare graphics, market, share… Well that’s where a podcast assistant comes in. All the time consuming stuff can be outsourced to our skilled team.

The kind of genuine connection you get by podcasting is unrivalled. Whereas a few years ago blogging seemed to be the great opportunity for connecting with an audience and providing added value to followers, leads and existing customers, podcasting has now overtaken this. And it remains greatly under-represented in business. You would not think twice about writing a blog for your brand or business website, and yet you might hesitate in starting a podcast. However, the process on your side can be as easy as recording a Zoom call. And, in creating a podcast, you will have much less competition for your podcast than for your blog so your voice is much more likely to be heard.
